Isaiah

雅各啊，創造你的耶和華，以色列啊，造成你的那位，現在如此說：「你不要害怕！因為我救贖了你；我曾提你的名召你，你是屬我的。

But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

你從水中經過，我必與你同在；你趟過江河，水必不漫過你；你從火中行過，必不被燒，火焰也不著在你身上。

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

因為我是耶和華你的神，是以色列的聖者，你的救主；我已經使埃及作你的贖價，使古實和西巴替你。

For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

因我看你為寶為尊，又因我愛你，所以我使人代替你，使列邦人替換你的生命。

Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

你不要害怕，因我與你同在；我必從東方領你的後裔來，又從西方聚集你，

Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

對北方說：「要交出來！」對南方說：「不要拘留！」要將我的眾子從遠方帶來，將我的眾女從地極帶回；

I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

就是凡稱為我名下的人，是我為自己的榮耀創造的，是我塑造的，也是我造的。」

Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

你要使眼睛雖有卻是瞎眼的、耳朵雖有卻是聾耳的人，都出來。

Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.

列國要聚集，眾民要會合；其中誰能宣告這事，把先前的事傳給我們聽呢？讓他們提出見證，使他們在人面前顯為有理，或使人聽見這些事，而說這是真的。

Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.

耶和華說：「你們是我的見證，我所揀選的僕人；既是這樣，你們就可以知道，且信服我，又明白我就是那位（「那位」或作：「耶和華」）；在我以前沒有真神，在我以後也必沒有。

Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

惟有我是耶和華，除我以外沒有救主。

I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

我曾宣告，我曾拯救，我曾說明；並無外邦人在你們中間，你們是我的見證。」這是耶和華說的，「我是神，

I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.

從今以後，我仍是神，沒有人能從我手中救出什麼，我要行事，誰能阻止呢？」

Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

你們的救贖主，以色列的聖者耶和華如此說：「因你們的緣故，我打發人到巴比倫去，我必使眾人作逃民下降，就是迦勒底人，在他們所歡樂的船上。

Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.

我是耶和華，你們的聖者，是創造以色列的，是你們的王。」

I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.

耶和華如此說，就是在海中開道路，在大水中開路徑的，

Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;

使車輛、馬匹、軍兵、勇士，都出來，一同躺下，不再起來；他們熄滅，如燈花熄滅一樣。

Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.

耶和華說：「你們不要記念從前的事，也不要思想古時的事。

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

看哪，我要做一件新事，如今要發現，你們豈不知道嗎？我必在曠野開道路，在沙漠開江河。

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

野地的走獸必尊重我，野狗和鴕鳥也必如此；因我使曠野有水，使沙漠有河，使我的百姓，我的選民喝水。

The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

這百姓是我為自己所造的，好述說我的美德。

This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

雅各啊，你並沒有求告我；以色列啊，你卻厭倦了我。

But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.

你沒有把羊的燔祭帶給我，也沒有用祭物尊崇我；我並沒有使你因素祭服事我而受勞苦，也沒有使你因乳香受我的煩累。

Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.

你沒有用銀子為我買菖蒲，也沒有用祭物的脂油使我飽足；倒是使我因你的罪惡受勞苦，使我因你的罪孽而受煩累。

Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.

惟有我為自己的緣故，塗抹你的過犯；我也不再記念你的罪惡。

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

你要使我記念，我們可以一同辯論；你陳說你的理，使你自己得以稱義。

Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.

你的始祖犯了罪，你的師傅們違背了我。

Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.

我便使殿的首領遭到污辱；我使雅各受咒詛，使以色列受凌辱。

Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
