Isaiah

這從以東，穿著紅色衣服，從波斯拉而來，甚為華美，大踏步前進，以大能為力的是誰呢？就是我，是憑公義說話，以大能施行拯救的。

Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

你的衣服為何有紅色，你所穿的為何像踹酒榨的人的衣服呢？

Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?

「我獨自踹酒榨；眾民中沒有人與我同在；我發怒，將他們踹下，我憤恨，將他們踐踏；他們的血濺在我衣服上，污染了我一切的衣裳。

I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

因為報仇之日在我心中，救贖我民之年已來到。

For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

我仰望，見沒有人幫助；我驚奇，見沒有人攙扶；所以用我自己的膀臂施行拯救；我的憤恨，就是扶持我的。

And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.

我發怒，將眾民踹下；我憤恨，使他們沉醉，又將他們的血倒在地上。」

And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

我要提說耶和華所賜諸般恩惠，就是他向以色列家所施的一切慈愛，是他按著憐恤和豐盛的慈愛賜給他們的；

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

他說：「他們確是我的百姓，不行虛假的子民；」這樣，他就作了他們的救主。

For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour.

他們在一切苦難中，他也同受苦難；並且他面前的使者拯救他們；他以慈愛和憐憫救贖他們，在古時的日子，常保抱他們。

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.

但他們悖逆，使他的聖靈擔憂；他就轉為他們的仇敵，親自攻打他們。

But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.

那時，他們想起古時的日子，想起摩西和他百姓說：「引領他們從海裡上來的，他在哪裡呢？將他的聖靈降在他們中間的，他在哪裡呢？

Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?

使他榮美的膀臂在摩西右手旁行動，在他們前面將水分開，永垂己名，他在哪裡呢？

That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?

引領他們經過深處，像馬在曠野行走，他在哪裡呢？

That led them through the deep, as an horse in the wilderness, that they should not stumble?

他們下到谷中，耶和華的靈使他們安息，好像牲畜下到山谷；你這樣引領你的百姓，使自己的名字得榮耀。」

As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.

求你從天上垂顧，從你聖潔榮耀的居所觀看；你的熱心和你大能的作為在哪裡呢？你愛慕的心腸，和你的慈悲，向我們止住了。

Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?

你確是我們的父；亞伯拉罕雖然不認識我們，以色列也不承認我們，你耶和華卻是我們的父；從萬古以來，你名為「我們的救贖主」。

Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.

耶和華啊，你為何使我們走迷離開你的道路，使我們心裡剛硬，不敬畏你呢？求你為你僕人，為你基業支派的緣故，回轉看顧我們。

O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

你的聖民不過暫時得這地為業；我們的仇敵已經踐踏你的聖所。

The people of thy holiness have possessed it but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.

我們好像你未曾治理的人，又像未曾稱為你名下的人。

We are thine: thou never barest rule over them; they were not called by thy name.
