Isaiah

耶和華對他的受膏者居魯士如此說：「我攙扶他的右手，使列國降伏在他面前；我要解開君王腰間的帶；我要在他面前開城門，城門不得關閉；

Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

「我必在你面前行路，使崎嶇之地成為平坦；我必打碎銅門，砍斷鐵閂；

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

我要將暗中的寶物和隱密處的財富賜給你，使你知道提你名的是我耶和華，以色列的神。

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

因我僕人雅各，我所揀選的以色列，我就提你的名，以尊銜稱呼你；那時你並不認識我。

For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

我是耶和華，在我以外並沒有別的神，除了我以外沒有真神；你雖不認識我，我必給你束腰；

I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

從日出到日落，使人都知道沒有人能離開我；我是耶和華，在我以外並沒有別的神。

That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

我造光，又造暗；我賜平安，又降禍患；造作這一切的是我耶和華。

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

諸天哪，自上而滴，穹蒼降下公義；大地開裂，產出救恩，使公義一同生長；這是我耶和華所造的。

Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

禍哉！那與造他的主爭論的！他不過是地上諸多瓦片中的一塊！泥土豈可對摶泥的說：「你作甚麼？」或說：「你所作的沒有用手，沒有能力」嗎？

Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

禍哉！那對父親說「你生了甚麼？」的，或是對母親說「你生的是甚麼？」的！

Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?

耶和華以色列的聖者，塑造以色列的主如此說：「將來的事，你們問我；至於我的兒子，並我手的工作，你們要指示我嗎？

Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

我造大地，又創造人在其上；我親手鋪張諸天，並命定天上的萬象；

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

我憑公義興起居魯士，我必修平他一切道路；他必建造我的城，釋放我被擄的民，不是為價錢，也不是為賞賜。」這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.

耶和華如此說：「埃及勞碌得來的，古實的貨物，並身量高大的西巴人，都要歸你；他們必跟隨你，以鐵鍊鎖住前來，向你下拜，懇求你說：「神真在你們中間，此外再沒有別的神，再沒有真神了。」

Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.

拯救以色列之神啊，你真是自隱的神！

Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.

製造偶像的都必一同羞愧、惶恐，都必一起帶著羞辱而去。

They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols.

以色列得耶和華永遠的救恩；你們必不愧恥，也不羞辱，直到永永遠遠。

But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

創造諸天的耶和華，就是製造大地、造成全地、並非創造混沌之後使其空虛而是使其有人居住的神，如此說：「我是耶和華，在我以外並沒有別的神。

For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

我沒有在隱秘之地說話，也沒有在黑暗之地說；我並沒有對雅各的後裔說：「你們枉然地尋求我。」我耶和華說正直話，宣告正確的事。

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

「從列國中逃脫的人哪，你們要聚集前來，一同近前；那些抬著木頭雕刻偶像、禱告不能救人之神的人，是沒有知識的。

Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.

你們要聲明，要陳說，也要彼此商議：誰從太古指明這事？誰從那時起就說明這事呢？豈不是我耶和華嗎？在我以外並沒有神；我是公義的神，又是救主，除了我以外，再沒有別的神。

Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

地極的人都當仰望我，就可以得救；因為我是神，在我以外並沒有別的神。

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

我指著自己起誓，我口所出的話是憑公義，並不反回；萬膝必向我跪拜，萬口必憑我起誓。

I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

人必論我說：「公義和力量，惟獨在耶和華那裡。」凡向他發怒的，都必來到他面前蒙羞。

Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

以色列的後裔，都必因耶和華得稱為義，並要自誇。

In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
