Isaiah

你們這追求公義、尋求耶和華的，當聽我言！你們要追想被鑿而出的磐石，被挖而出的巖穴。

Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock {whence} ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit {whence} ye are digged.

要追想你們的祖宗亞伯拉罕和生養你們的撒拉；因為亞伯拉罕獨自一人的時候，我選召他，賜福與他，使他人數增多。

Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah {that} bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

耶和華已經安慰錫安和錫安一切的荒場，使曠野像伊甸，使沙漠像耶和華的園囿；在其中必有歡喜、快樂、感謝，和歌唱的聲音。

For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

我的百姓啊，要向我留心；我的國民哪，要向我側耳；因為訓誨必從我而出；我必堅定我的公理為萬民之光。

Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.

我的公義臨近；我的救恩發出。我的膀臂要審判萬民；海島都要等候我，倚賴我的膀臂。

My righteousness {is} near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.

你們要向天舉目，觀看下地；因為天必像煙雲消散，地必如衣服漸漸舊了；其上的居民也要如此死亡（如此死亡：或譯像蠓蟲死亡）。惟有我的救恩永遠長存；我的公義也不廢掉。

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

知道公義、將我訓誨存在心中的民，要聽我言！不要怕人的辱罵，也不要因人的毀謗驚惶。

Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart {is} my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.

因為蛀蟲必咬他們，好像咬衣服；蟲子必咬他們，如同咬羊絨。惟有我的公義永遠長存，我的救恩直到萬代。

For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

耶和華的膀臂啊，興起！興起！以能力為衣穿上，像古時的年日、上古的世代興起一樣。從前砍碎拉哈伯、刺透大魚的，不是你麼？

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. {Art} thou not it that hath cut Rahab, {and} wounded the dragon?

使海與深淵的水乾涸、使海的深處變為贖民經過之路的，不是你麼？

{Art} thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?

耶和華救贖的民必歸回，歌唱來到錫安；永樂必歸到他們的頭上。他們必得著歡喜快樂；憂愁歎息盡都逃避。

Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy {shall be} upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; {and} sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

惟有我，是安慰你們的。你是誰，竟怕那必死的人？怕那要變如草的世人？

I, {even} I, {am} he that comforteth you: who {art} thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man {that} shall die, and of the son of man {which} shall be made {as} grass;

卻忘記鋪張諸天、立定地基、創造你的耶和華？又因欺壓者圖謀毀滅要發的暴怒，整天害怕，其實那欺壓者的暴怒在哪裡呢？

And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where {is} the fury of the oppressor? {were...: or, made himself ready}

被擄去的快得釋放，必不死而下坑；他的食物也不致缺乏。

The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.

我是耶和華─你的神─攪動大海，使海中的波浪匉訇─萬軍之耶和華是我的名。

But I {am} the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts {is} his name.

我將我的話傳給你，用我的手影遮蔽你，為要栽定諸天，立定地基，又對錫安說：你是我的百姓。

And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou {art} my people.

耶路撒冷啊，興起！興起！站起來！你從耶和華手中喝了他忿怒之杯，喝了那使人東倒西歪的爵，以致喝盡。

Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, {and} wrung {them} out.

他所生育的諸子中，沒有一個引導他的；他所養大的諸子中，沒有一個攙扶他的。

{There is} none to guide her among all the sons {whom} she hath brought forth; neither {is there any} that taketh her by the hand of all the sons {that} she hath brought up.

荒涼、毀滅、饑荒、刀兵，這幾樣臨到你，誰為你舉哀？我如何能安慰你呢？

These two {things} are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee? {are...: Heb. happened} {destruction: Heb. breaking}

你的眾子發昏，在各市口上躺臥，好像黃羊在網羅之中，都滿了耶和華的忿怒─你神的斥責。

Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God.

因此，你這困苦卻非因酒而醉的，要聽我言。

Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:

你的主耶和華─就是為他百姓辨屈的神如此說：看哪，我已將那使人東倒西歪的杯，就是我忿怒的爵，從你手中接過來；你必不致再喝。

Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God {that} pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, {even} the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:

我必將這杯遞在苦待你的人手中；他們曾對你說：你屈身，由我們踐踏過去罷！你便以背為地，好像街市，任人經過。

But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
