Isaiah

興起！發光吧！因為你的光已經來到，耶和華的榮耀發現照耀你了。

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

看哪，黑暗遮蓋大地，幽暗遮蓋萬民；耶和華卻要發現照耀你，他的榮耀要現顯在你身上。

For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

萬國要來就你的光，君王要來就你發現的光輝。

And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

「你要舉目觀看，四方觀看，眾人都聚集來到你這裡；你的眾子從遠方而來，你的眾女由人懷抱而來。

Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

那時你看見就有光采，你的心就跳動，且開展；因為大海的豐富必轉歸你，列國的財富必來歸你。

Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.

成群的駱駝，並米甸和以法的駱駝，都必遮蓋你的地；示巴人都必來到，帶著黃金和乳香，並且傳說耶和華的讚美。

The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.

基達的羊群都必聚集到你那裡，尼拜約的公羊要供你使用，在我壇上作悅納的祭物；我要榮耀我的榮耀居所。

All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.

「這些飛翔如雲，如鴿子飛到窩中的，是誰呢？

Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?

海島都等候我；首先來的是他施的船隻，把你的眾子連同他們的銀子和金子從遠方帶來，都為耶和華你神的名，為以色列的聖者，因為他已榮耀你。

Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

「外邦人必建造你的城牆，他們的王必服事你；因為我發怒擊打了你，卻因施恩憐恤了你。

And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

你的城門必時常開放，白晝黑夜都不關閉，使人將列國的財富帶來，並且將列國的王帶來；

Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.

因為那不服事你的國和邦，必然滅亡；那些國必全然荒廢。

For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.

黎巴嫩的榮耀，就是松樹、杉樹、黃楊樹，都必來到你這裡，使我的聖所有榮耀；我要使我腳踏之地受尊重。

The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.

那些苦待你之人的兒子必屈身來就你；那些藐視你之人，必在你腳掌下面俯伏；他們必稱你為「耶和華的城」，為「以色列聖者的錫安」。

The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

你素來被撇棄，被厭惡，無人經過；我卻要使你永遠華美，成為世世代代的喜樂。

Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.

你也要喫取列國的乳汁，喫取諸王的乳，你便知道我耶和華是你的救主，是你的救贖主，是雅各的大能者。

Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

我要拿金子代替銅，拿銀子代替鐵，拿銅代替木頭，拿鐵代替石頭；我要以和平為你的官長，以公義為你的監督。

For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.

強暴的事在你的地中必聽不到；荒廢和毀滅也在你的境內必聽不到；你必稱你的牆為拯救，稱你的城門為稱讚。

Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.

日頭不再作你白晝的光，月亮也不再發光照耀你；耶和華卻要作你永遠的光，你的神要為你的榮耀。

The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

你的日頭不再下落，你的月亮也不退縮；因為耶和華必作你永遠的光；你悲哀的日子也完畢了。

Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

你的居民都成為義人，永遠承受那地；他們是我種的苗，是我手的工作，我藉此得榮耀。

Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

至小的族要加增成千，微弱的國要成為強盛；我耶和華要按時速成這事。

A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.
