Isaiah

彼勒屈身，尼波俯伏；他們的偶像馱在獸上，馱在牲口上；你們所抬的已經成了重馱，使疲乏的牲口擔當。

Bel boweth down, Nebo stoopeth, their idols were upon the beasts, and upon the cattle: your carriages were heavy loaden; they are a burden to the weary beast.

他們俯伏，一同屈身；不能保護所馱的重物，自己倒被擄去。

They stoop, they bow down together; they could not deliver the burden, but themselves are gone into captivity.

「雅各家，以色列家一切剩下的人哪，當聽我言：你們自從生下來，就蒙我保抱；自從出胎，便蒙我懷抱。

Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb:

直到你們年老，我仍這樣；直到你們髮白，我仍懷抱你們；我已造作，也必保抱；我必懷抱你們，也必拯救你們。

And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

你們將誰與我相比，與我同列，可以與我相較，使我們相同呢？

To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like?

從囊中傾出金子，用天平稱銀子，雇銀匠造成神，他們就俯伏，且叩拜它。

They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a goldsmith; and he maketh it a god: they fall down, yea, they worship.

他們把偶像扛在肩上，抬來抬去；把它設置在其原位，它便站立，不離其所；人呼求它，它不能回應，也不能救人脫離患難。

They bear him upon the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place, and he standeth; from his place shall he not remove: yea, one shall cry unto him, yet can he not answer, nor save him out of his trouble.

「你們要想念這事，心意堅定，你們這悖逆的人，要將這事放在心上。

Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors.

你們要想念上古的事；因為我是神，並無別的神；我是神，再沒有能比我的。

Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

我從起初指明末後的事，從古時言明未成的事，說：「我的籌算必立定，凡我所喜悅的，我必成就。」

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

我從東方召來鷹，從遠方召來成就我籌算的人。我已說出，也必使它成就；我已謀定，也必成全。

Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

你們這些心裡剛硬，遠離公義的人，當聽我言！

Hearken unto me, ye stouthearted, that are far from righteousness:

我使我的公義臨近，必不再遠去；我的救恩必不遲延；我要在以色列中使救恩，使我的榮耀顯現。

I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.
